Jim -- I agree. The level gauges aren't particularly accurate anyway. Well, if you're stopped long enough and they're still in the red, you should have turned it off earlier...lol. Certainly, not as good as keeping a bead on temp and pressure.

DD -- I'll be.. er.. whatever. You are on the money and I am in fact blind. I popped the gauge out and there are teeny tiny markings for temp on there.

There are marks for 30C(56F), 60(140F), 150C(302F) and 170C(338F). The 60 and 150 mark the operating band (the top of the warm up box and the bottom of the *red* zone) 30 is about 1/3 below 60 and 170 is about 1/3 above 150.

Now, can that really be right? 150C/302F seems awfully *hot*! I would have thought the red zone would start at 250F or so...??? Have I misread something?
