It's time for new tires since the date stamp on mine shows 8 yr old. Glad I ran across this thread, I'll prob get the contis as well. I have been happy with the Potenzas that are on there currently.

If you want to do the Dragon to check it off your list, then have at it. There are so many roads in the tri state area that are much more satisfying to drive. There are so many idiots on the dragon, that I refuse to ride it anymore. Last time I was there, I stopped to talk to one of the commercial photographers along the side of the road, he showed me a pic he had just took of a Miata completely in the opposing lane in a blind curve. Anyone coming in the opposite direction would have had a head on collision with that idiot.
