Nossir, not without covers.

I have K&N filters and watershield covers on my 3.0 and i'm not a big fan of the K&N filters. I wouldn't mind using a factory air cleaner housing with paper filters, but I need the middle clear to access/clear my ignition board and wires (Electromotive HPV-1)
Thanks,

Options are limited, as you know for air cleaners on carbs & ITB's. Both Jenvey & ITG make foam aircleaners of different types as well as K&N's oiled-gauze ones comprise all the choices for these applications.
In the context of race cars, these are all OK, but maximum potential engine life might be shorter when using such things. There are steps we take to help ensure these work to their best ability such as applying grease to all the edges for improved sealing.
