zenith fire hazard?
Just rebuild both zenith carbs on my 70 t. The air diffusers on the right side had all melted down like candle sticks! Apparently there had been a fire inside the top half, and the metal had melted down to the bottom and was just sitting on the top of those valves to the intake! Even the air box on top had melted down. Now here's the part that troubles me. Should I replace this air box or should I go with some K&N filters? I worry that the only reason the fire stayed inside the carbs was because of that airbox, but I really don't know. Any suggestions? Thanks.
