Very very true.
I'm 18 and I feel alienated from my generation because on my stance on OWS. Luckily most of my close friends share the same view.
I've had several business ventures over the years (currently running 3) and I've almost exclusively employed people my age. What I have noticed is that very very few people want to (1) put their ass on the line, (2) do anything that could be described as "meanial" or (3) be told what to do.
I mean seriously. STFU, turn off world of warcraft, and do something! So what if you were in AP Calculus, it's summer and your job is to mow lawns for me using equipment that I own because I spent money on it that I saved since I was 5. So what if you make $8/hr and I make triple digits per hour. It's called capitalism.
Of course I didn't want to work at McDonalds, so I made my own job.
Now I feel old.
