I had my old 944 Turbo past 135 a few times
(Professional driver, closed course, don't try this at home).
I currently have a 944S which is good for more than 135, but then there is the race car- An early 944 prepped to SCCA's ITS Class. With such limited prep allowed, and the rules requiring the windows to be open, there is no track I've been on with a long enough straight to get past 130 or so.
At least the driveline has never let go
(yet).
Still tempted by the 2005-09 Mustangs. Nice cars.
