My Toyota minivan rear hatch keep comming down by itself. I called Toyota and found that it cost around $190 each. I told the guy that he might be mistaken what I need with something else, and mentioned that my rear hatch is not power driven. He said he knows what I need. I need a strut support. He added: "You have a Toyota. Nothing Toyota is cheap". I thought to myself: "wow, I am so out of date. Since when Toyota became so luxury".
$190 for a simple strut support? Our 911 hood strut is how much? Maybe $20 if I remember right. A buddy got me the "high performance" hood strut. It costs around $40, and we already thought that was expensive.
