dont forget that to check the oil level, the oil temp needs to be hot.
going for a drive does NOT get the oil sufficiently hot to check the level (unless on the track).
suggest you go for a drive which will warm it up 50%, then let it idle for 15mins to get it hot.
maybe get a book to read whilst waiting.
