No one talked about too much oil. Too much oil is bad for a couple of reasons, it can suck oil into the AFM and such, and it doesn't allow air to flow through the filter. It will make the car run worse than before. I have seen a smaller engine not even run because someone put WAY too much oil on the filter. That was an extreme case, though.
