They may have udated to Turbo spindles that allow the use of Turbo struts and larger brake calipers (as I have as well). I didn't even go deep into that upgrade because I am not sure how much $$ you want to spend.

I have a set of complete struts (springs & upper strut mounts), spindles, hubs, and rotors from an 86 turbo. You would still need front calipers though. E-mail me if interested.
