After much internal debate, review and reading of posts I pulled the trigger on this 2010 GTI today. CPO car, 13k miles, autobahn package, loaded with everything but nav. Guy at the dealer owned it, sold it to buy the Golf R. It's been tuned a bit, up about 30 hp, has a euro lower valance/splitter to go with that he picked up at the factory. It's immaculate. Very excited.
On a sad note the 82 left to with its new owner today as well. Purchased in 05, was a great car. Is a great car. This is a pic from my trip from Houston to Seattle when purchased.
Time to get started bringing this 72 back to life as the gold track beast will be up for sale in a few months.
