Mike (mikez), Ingo (ischmitz), and myself decided to head over the hill to a local watering hole for an adult beverage. We let Mike lead the way, not that we had a choice ( his 3.6 is ffaaassstttt ), Ingo was next and then myself bring up the rear. On the way back into town Ingo was feeling brave and thought he might try and keep up with Mike’s 3.6. Me being smart once again watched from behind. At the top of the pass (154) I see a lot of white smoke coming from the rear of Ingo’s 74. Ingo had just rebuilt his tranny and put everything back together, slapped the engine back in the car no more then 24 hours prior. Here is a couple of pix of the aftermath.
Is that oil?
This doesnt look good
Mike & Ingo check things out
Ingo's chariot arrives
Mike being helpful as usual
Back at Ingo's the problem is found
A better view
Seems as though the new oil line and tire were a wee bit to close. Ingo should be back on the road in no time.
