Hummmm, I would have waited to order the pump to see if it had power and if it did have power even after jumpering the replay it might be frozen and new gas might break it loose, but then again maybe not? You can check power at socket #30 on the fuel pump relay and if it has 12 volts then jumper over to socket 87 and then turn on the key to see if the pump runs. You can also check voltage at the pump electrical spade lug at the pump as some times the wire will break or get eaten by a critter.....
