I'll see if I can find some info on those analyzers to give you some search terms.

I have no idea of if your analyzer is thermistor based. The way the Heathkit works is that two matched thermistors are legs in a Whetstone bridge, one thermistor is in a reference gas cell, the other is exposed to exhaust gases, in an thermal slug assembly. The thermal transfer rate of exhaust gas varies with the CO content, causing the bridge to be unbalanced and a current to flow in through the meter, registering as the A/F (and corresponding CO) level.
