Idle control valve plug, crank sensor, coolant temp sensor, throttle position sensor all are around that area.
Could that 2 connector one be a brake sensor? All of my e30s are gone now but the plug sure looks familiar.
I agree with going back to the ecm plug, but you have to get the pin designations.
