I didn't want to take a chance with such a key element of my rebuild so I found an excellent price on a brand new set of Mahle nikasil P's & C's. Overkill, maybe, but all I've read says the re-ring with Alusils is chancy at best as to whether the new rings will seat properly. For those of you who believe they will I have a nice used set of Alusils for sale
