I never took 930 shifters apart but remembering from a VW Beetle (same type)...
as reverse is left and forward, the shaft in the floor will spin clockwise (looking forward) and go back so that’s how you should be able to get into reverse by holding the shaft…
Maybe I’m wrong but that’s what I would try…
maybe others can chyme in here...
