At what point does a sport tire make more sense than a sport-touring tire?
... only if you're gonna do trackdays & sporty/dry riding, or if you may end up in "mixed weather" situations and/or expect tons of miles out of them. Lots of great rubber out there, and hey, they're pretty temporary, so get a set, and ride the crap out of them. Summer's on the way - get some Q2s, or whatever is gummy & fun, then take them off and mount up some Pilot Road 3s when the weather turn to ****e -- can't go wrong ...
