Hi there,

heard great things about this forum, and thought I would post up a few issues I am having with my 05 Boxster, with 9100 miles.

Car is in great shape but I noticed yesterday when I opened the top the two little rubber pieces on the trim that covers where the top stores keep coming off.

I can push them back in, and they seem undamaged, there are metal clips that hold the rubber over a thin edge of metal. What can I do to deal with this, should it be lubricated to stop it sticking?

Also, they is an 05 with 9k miles, should I be thinking about IMS upgrade, or was that not an issue in the 05. I see conflicting reports so I am unsure.

***Last one, I have an issue with a "check front left light" error on dash. The lights all look good so I am not sure what is causing the issue. This causes another problem, I can't check oil level with the light error. Ideas? *** FIGURED THIS ONE OUT - I missed the tiny parking light bulb, will go get another tomorrow.
