I have ridden bikes with Z6 and other Touring/ST tires, and I have to say they do perform well. I have taken them to the edge, two up on a RT, no problem. BUT I always tell myself, that rubber is ALL you have holding the bike on its intended path, so I usually opt for sticky, rather than mileage, just as mental insurance. But I am comfortable taking the bike to max lean angles thanks to numerous track days. Many will mentally bail, before the bike/tires give up.
And Brads $.11/mile is low for me, I am more in the $.13-$.15 range, dependent on the deal I get on rubber.
