Sure hope your restorers didn't lose the tag. If it was still attached to the pillar, I'd think you'd be able to feel it under the vinyl.
Other than a COA, I'd be looking for any non US equipment like Euro gauges, Euro seat belts, front signal housings are different for the Euro.
Was there a silver manufacturer's decal under the drivers side door striker? That is also, North American specific.
How far back is your history on the car? How long in SoCal?
