On my 1979 911. I had the exhaust backdated to the 1974 exhaust. Then I had a shop cut a hole in the passenger side and weld on a tip. Now I have no catalytic converter and am running a dual exhaust sort of. I am thinking now to possibly go to a smaller diameter tip to quiet it up some. But i do not want to lose any performance.
Anybody have some good advice here? My wife says she can hear me drive all the way up Highlands Ranch parkway. i say COOL! but now am rethinking that...
