Agreed. Hope it's not the case, but get a mirror up over the trans and look through the square inspection hole to verify that your fork is still engaged with the throw out bearing. You might have to drop it again.

Hopefully, you just don't have the omega spring loaded. You need to lever it back with a pry bar before installing the clutch cable. And make sure your pedal is held up with a block of wood before you do any adjustments.
