If your car is old enough, you can change/motify it. I'm sure you are aware of the rules, regulations, requirements, etc.,etc. in Kali. As Shane said, your engine isn't set up to run optimally on carbs. I don't know about EFI vs. CIS cams & pistons. However that doesn't mean you can't convert anyway and do upgrades the match the carbs/EFI later on. If you're going the carburetor route, PMO's are probably the best way to go. My engine is set up for carbs and EFI (I guess) if the pistons & cams (E cams & J&E pistons) work OK with EFI. It doesn't run right now because it's not in the car, but when the time comes to put it in the car & get it running, I'm thinking of "al kosmal"'s EFI setup if I can afford it at the time. I've had Webers, and I think I'd prefer EFI over them for reasons "Quickstep 192" hinted at.
