I'm not sure I'm having the same problem.... as you had.. i can get the angle right but the 'other' end of the bar is about an inch and a half wide of the bush when I line it up (assuming I've put one side in already)... This is a truly crap picture but it should explain what I mean..... my photoshop skills know no bounds..
