Desperately need stock eprom for Euro DME
Hi,
I just spent the last 4 days installing my "new" 1989 Euro engine (930/20) into my 87 Carrera. The DME that came with the engine doesn't work at all. The US spec DME that I have in the car, PN 911.618.111.20 will allow the engine to start, but it barely runs and has no power.
I DESPERATELY need the stock EPROM for a Euro 911.618.111.18 DME. Can some one please tell me where I can find a hex file so I can burn an EPROM? Or email the hex file to my address listed in my profile.
I want to try out my new engine, and I need the code! This SUCKS!
BTW my 111.20 DME that came with the car has an upgraded chip with the following markings on it:
911880.KRT
EUROPRODUCTS
911 '88-ON
DME UPGRADE
Anyone know if this is a good chip for US spec 3.2's
Thanks!!!!
Paul
