As a Canadian, I'm curious as to why anyone who doesn't support this war is UN-American or should leave America or is having a "love fest"??

Is that how the American people work? Listen to the leader - do what he says or be ostracized? Isn't that kinda like how Iraq works??

Not ONE single person on this board, that board or any board have ANY clue as to what is really going on. Heck, the majority of those in the US Government has no real clue to what the truth is.

Everyone here states personal beliefs based on "facts" they have obtained through books, media, heresay, etc, etc. Anyone here actually ever talk to Saddam or George? Anyone here ever sit in on a UN meeting??? Didn't think so!

Just imagine those who know the real truth, sitting around reading these posts (and many other political posts). They must be bending over with laughter.

News flash - we are the "numbers". We are the "sheep". Do you really think the real truth would ever be passed our way? Nope! We see, hear and act the way "someone" or "something" out there wants us to.

Is this war about oil? No. Is his about weapons of mass destruction? No. Is it about ANYTHING people mention? No.

I wouldn't worry to much Overkill. My opinion (which is based on my GUT and not facts and stories) is that this whole "war" thing is just being done to scare people into doing things and/or giving up things (rights, etc).

What we see is a microcosim (if even that) of the bigger picture. "They" never told us smokes were not bad for us at the start. "They" never told us how bad leaded gas was. "They" only let "us" know what "they" want us to know. Someone is in control of all media and how it is used to form public opinions and scare us. These are the people who are making Overkill antsy - not Saddam.

Ignore it all Overkill - your opinion, your "vote", your feelings, all mean nothing to these people. Just take everything you hear as a joke.....cause most of it is just that. Think about it Overkill - has ANYTHING the Government done ever really effected you at all? And I don't mean you having to pay more or less for this and that. Ignore the monitorial effects and ask yourself - "......has the Government even really noticed I exist unless they want something from me?".

The answer is no. We're about as close to the Cow as we can get. We all just graze around the planet, consuming stuff and using stuff and the farm owner uses us for our milk and meat. Heck - at least the real farmer names some of his cows - as humans, in the eyes of the Government, we are nameless....until they need us. Then we are called "the people".

Go about your life Overkill - don't cause a stink and don't stand out. Conform. Pay your taxes - have the 2.5 children - get the home with the white picket fence, but most importantly - don't forget to give up your soul. You better adhere to these suggestions - or there may just be a war!!!!
