I happened across this picture of an
aluminum Matter roll cage. Is it me or does it really seem flimsy? Considering that it is made out of aluminum, the bolt together arrangement (fairly long, narrow, fabricated U-shaped brackets) seems like an awfully weak way to join the pieces together.
I also just don't get the impression that those door bars were designed to handle anything but tension loads. I'd hate to get T-boned in one of those things.
