we all have opinions and own them.
but what if you're rossi and your opinion is:
#1. I don't care who buys Ducati, I don't believe they can make the changes I need within the timeframe I have set for myself.
#2. I am better than Lorenzo, especially with near-identical bikes.
if you come from that perspective, then the move makes a lot of sense.
i don't think he's in it for the glory, not when there's still good money to be made.
as far as second fiddle, i'd imagine that YMC is going be exceptionally aware of the equipment offered to both riders. i doubt they'd take any chances of giving one guy something over the other, before discussing with both. YMC knows how to run in total CYA mode, so there can't be any justifiable bickering or finger pointing in regards to machinery advantages.
either way i'ts gonna be fun to watch it unfold.
makes me want to go to costco for a pallet of popcorn.
