You really don't have a grasp on this,Edwards is a very rich man,he doesn't have a manager and never has from choice,it has nothing to do with being able to afford one or the bike he is riding this year,he has always done his own negotiating period.
As for he HQ thing,if you check this thread you'll see I put up a post up way before that about the deal being done,I don't have a crystal ball,just a very good source,and Spies knew that as well hence why he jumped before he got pushed.
