Chris, by nothing to prove, I meant Rossi doesn't have to prove that he is one of the greatest among greats. I think it's personal for him to retire with the #1 plate just as Stoner is doing this year. I don't believe he wants to retire on the last two Ducati seasons. It's a perception thing. Do you want to be perceived as the top dog or one that should have retired three years ago.
I'd like to see Suzuki and Kawasaki get back into the mix as Kawa has in SBK. That would do more for GP than this lame CRT rouse. But, the costs associated with GP are killing the class from within. Four more factory bikes would generate better opportunities for those driver waiting to show their skills. Bradl would certainly get a factory ride if Suzuki and Kawasaki got back in, Signit98.
