Cool

Bee Jay,

'79 L82? Cool! I have a '77 L48 that I've been doing a complete mechanical rebuild on over the past few years. I hope to have it ready for Corvettes at Carlisle this summer. It shouldn't be too hard once the winter weather breaks (it's way too cold to work out there right now!). I bought a motor from a local engine builder. Iron Vortec heads, Comp Cams 268XE cam, sticking with the Quadrajet carb (love those huge secondaries!). I have the original motor sitting on a dolly in my garage and I toyed with the idea of putting it in a 914... until the blue 911 became available and I latched onto that instead.

To keep this thread related to the original topic... my favorite 914 tracks in NFS5 are Corsica and Schwarzwald. I haven't mastered Auvergne yet. I especially like the multiple paths that you can take on the various tracks in this game. BTW, I've seen copies of this game at a local Sam's Club for $8.
