I just picked up a new "S" hose from the dealer today ... low and behold it is rubber !!!
Just when i thought it was made of hard plastic ... lol
Got my car "tech'd" today at my local tuning shop for this weekend's 3 day track event and the boys in the shop said i should be good with a high temp sleeve on the hose and the hose pulled up for extra clearance.
Going to dump the oil and replace it tomorrow when my sleeve and heat tape arrive.
How did i live without headers for the last three years,my car sounds like a poor man's GT3Cup car now
