Wow, that's really weird. In your pic the roof is positioned all the way to the left. I assume you have tried it exactly in the centre of the trunk, equidistant between the two hood hinges?
If you compare our pictures, I am definitely able to get it lower down in the shorthood, especially if you compare the distance between roof and fresh air vent. Unless one of the stock longhood owners can post a pic, I guess we are %^*# outta luck.
On a side note, how about a pic of the car? You are teasing us with the close-ups :-)
