This was a time when very few people road a bike seriously back in the mid 80s. I was in high school training and racing. Cycling was not a popular sport, only a hand full had the skin tight shorts and other colorful cycling gear, unlike today's fashion show and road blocks. I did not play ball in high school, and had always had shaved legs since my 11 grade year to now. Just think what I had to go through with back then but I didn't care.
