I've been having the clicking on my driver's side door for some time. Until this discussion I thought the clicking was actually normal. Now that I am aware of it, I think I've discovered the reason for it, at least in my case. I've noticed that the door stop hinge that attaches to the door frame is actually broken away and moves around in the frame area. Does this make any sense? It's not the part of the door stop assembly attached to the door that's
making the click in my case, but the area where the hinge is suppose to attach to the frame. Anybody else notice this? What have you done about it? Is it a big deal?
