Around mid 2005 the LN IMS bearing fix can still be done to the car but the engine case must be split to accomplish it. Makes it a bit more expensive.
Acorrding to Jake Raby (Flat 6 Innovations, who works with Navarro), the later Porsche factory bearing is the same exact design as the earlier bearing, just bigger.
