Guessing I have a Valeo alternator (Internal regulator with three connections).
1. Thick Red (To starter - Already has eyelet on it to fit starter terminal)
2. Thin Black (Ground - Already has corresponding "cut" black wiring to coil packs and many other eyelets to terminal block)
3. Thin Red
By process of elimination the thin red must be the "blue wire" for control light
(Terminal 11 / Blue wire - alternator control light (D+).
