You don't say what year 911 you have, i assume you are running a '74 or later and want aero mirrors,

I did the RS America mirrors on my '86 but specified manual operation to save weight.

In my factory 928 Porsche manual it explains how to update older 928s mirrors and the old to new color coded wiring to be connected. It surprised me that the manual offered that level of detail.

I downloaded the e-manual off ebay for 20 bucks, i would start with a factory 911 manual if you do not already have one. It will take the guess work out.

I don't have a factory manual for my 911 or i would look for you.
