I have the CR1 in my car. I bought them because I wanted something affordable, recline-able, and to have a 5 pt harness for DE's. They fill my needs perfectly.
However, my car is a weekend driver, AX, and DE use. I wouldn't necessarily recommend them for daily driving or long cruises. I can feel the lumbar springs on the lower part of my back.
My wife loves them and says its the best thing I've done to the car (my original seats only have 45,000 mi). They do sit about an inch+ higher compared to my originals in the lowest position(automatic) and I think that's why she likes them.
I would recommend finding a good used set (that's what I did). Keep in mind these are not $2000 seats ea and you will be satisfied.
I think if I paid new pricing I would be a little dissapointed.
