My oldest son and I are flying to San Antonio Thursday for the race weekend. We have tickets for the upper seats in grandstand #12--but not with the PCA contingent. I also purchased tickets to the PCA BBQ Saturday night after qualifying. Should be a lot of fun.
I'll wear some kind of Porsche gear (hat or shirt) to identify with the brand (I will be buying some F1 gear to wear as well). If you see a grey-haired guy with Porsche branded something walking with a bit of a limp accompanied by my handsome, smart 32 year-old son--that's me! Stop and say hello.
It's been a great F1 season, the championship could be settled this weekend in favor of Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull or extended to Brazil by Alonso and Ferrari. I like Alonso but have never been much for Ferrari (unlike half the F1 fans in the world), so I'm leaning to Vettel and Red Bull. Was sorry to see McClaren fade a few races ago.
Hope to see a few Pelicans in Texas this week!
