I'm looking at a car with no heat, and I need heat. The chassis is an '80 Euro SC and the motor is an '84 Euro 3.3L turbo. It has SC cams, an Andial intercooler, K-27 11/11, Ruf R4 muffler, and a factory RoW oil cooler...
The interior controls were removed, as well as anything in the engine bay (presumably). I fear the cost of a new OEM system. Someone told me about an aftermarket solution that would wrap around the existing headers...I'm new to 930 modification and plumbing and I'm in over my head. I would almost surely need a shop to get the parts in for me. Because the motor is heavily modified, it's difficult for me to know how the parts interact with one another.
Here's a shot of the headers:
It looks like I could go with stainless SSI headers for $2k or try and get a modern gas heater installed in the frunk and not mess with the motor at all...I'm trying to get a handle on all the variables in play. Any insight would be appreciated.
