The guys at Aase Sales have a very special new project underway. Starting with a VERY accurate 73 RS replica, they are deep into converting it into a replica of the 1973 Daytona 24 winning RSR driven by Peter Gregg and Hurley Haywood.
Making the project even more special is that it is "Brumos approved" and if all goes to plan, Hurley Haywood will be driving this car on the circuit during the pre-race festivities for the 51st annual Rolex 24 at Daytona. 40 years after winning in a similar RSR, Hurley will be serving as the Grand Marshall for the event. The RSR will also be on display as part of the historic exhibition at the track.
More photos as progress is made.
