I never have re-read books much. When I know what is coming, sort of discourages me from continuing. If it is actual literature, Steinbeck or Hemingway or whoever, I will read it again. About the only thing that was assigned to me in school that I actually did read more than once was Mark Twain.

Kinda sucks, but I'm now old enough to remember liking some books a lot but remembering little about them, so I enjoy re-reading them again. I'm currently wrapping up "Lucifer's Hammer" and it's wild how dated it seems now, as well as interesting to see how much modern disaster epics owe to it.
