Last night I cleaned up the engine a bit, stripped out the wiring I don't need in the engine harness, removed the air pump and plugged the ports. I need to brace the flywheel flange so I can remove the crank pulley, a/c bracket, and belt sensor. I also have to remove the fan and replace the bearing with a fixed pulley.

This morning I removed everything else in the engine bay, except the fuel lines as I was worried about breaking the line (any clues on how to disconnect them where they come out of the tunnel?). I even got the sound deadener pad out intact and can reuse it.

I also removed the reflector panel. What a nightmare!

Anyone interested in an oil cooler and lines?

Flares were next. Just mocked this one up, but they fit pretty well and should butt weld right into place. Tomorrow I'll fit the rear bumper and then get serious about cutting the old flares out and welding in the new.

All in all, a damn good day, but I really need to get a better camera!
