They said the top speed of that Cessna was 210 mph. Jack jumped with just over 10 minutes left on the counter... so he would have been about 30 miles away when the bomb went off (less, if you consider that Mason hit the ground a few moments before it went off). Certainly that is a bit TOO close to escape unharmed...
