Scott, back when I ran stock heat exchangers on my Carreras I'd modded the mufflers. But it does require cutting the top off the muffler to remove a couple of the baffles inside. I would also add a 3 or 4" stainless tip too. No dyno numbers to substantiate any improvement but the butt dyno seemed to think it helped a bit. Changed the tone to a deeper rumble without any resonance at all, and without being too loud. I'd have to dig back about 20 years to see if I can find the drawings of how it was done though.

Can you just post about how big a hole you cut in the top to modify the baffles??
Or maybe even the drawings.
