Depends on what kind of O2 sensor you have, you'll pay between $30 and $120. My 84 944 has a single wire and I paid $30 for the O2 sensor. The 3-wire sensors (the ones with the built-in heating element) are more expensive and are found on later models.

When you replace the wire, make sure you use a high quality replacement wire and connector. A cheap, high resistance wire will screw up the signal to the computer.
