Hi,

I've got a muffler that I brushed with phosphoric acid yesterday. I think it's had time (It's been 24 hours) to do what it's going to do, but I may have laid it on a bit thick, because it's left a sticky residue on the muffler. Is there something I can rinse it with (water? marine clean degreaser? acetone? ) before I start the process of spraying it with high heat paint?
