Yep - I "think" my connections are good but I will spend a couple of hours cleaning them within the next week.

Even if they are fine, a little PM is not a bad thing. I did replace all fuses last year but I did not perform some of the cleaning tricks that I have read about. I used the pencil eraser in a drill but I think there are some chemicals that aid cleaning/connectivity/anti corrosion that I did not use.

I don't want to pull the alternator but I may get my shroud strap dipped this week so it won't be that bad. I may get me some of those washers with teeth that bite into each side of the connection to go the extra mile.


Thanks again to all for the time to write out many detailed explanations that this layman can make some sense of.

The "saw-toothed wave form" discussions were over my head but it's all good.
